Emotional Support

As we continue to provide optimal care for our patients, we strongly encourage participation in our support groups. The group meets at P.A.R.I.N.T.S. on a regular basis and everyone is invited.

Infertility, subfertility, pregnancy loss, and adoption are given a forum. Those who attend are given the opportunity to share their feelings, or sit back, and lend an ear to those who need to talk. Our guest speakers empower everyone with the tools necessary to relieve stress, gain emotional control, and create a more positive environment.

Support and education have been central to our mission, and we are very pleased to know that our patients have established truly unique friendships.

At the University of Massachusetts Medical School, they found that some 70 percent of patients who attended a support group offering both relaxation skills and emotional support became pregnant, compared to 30 percent of couples who did not attend such a group.

Dr. Burke from the University of Massachusetts states, "If you substitute the meditation for the science, it's better than doing nothing. But if you combine the two, you will see a significantly greater success rate."

We want to assist you in your journey.
